FEES REFUND POLICY 2024 – 25
In pursuance of UGC Guidelines -D.O. No.F.2-7 1t2022 (CPP-Il) (C -114546, dtd : 12.06.2024 and the APH of AICTE , the procedure and process of the Fees Refund Policy of St. Thomas College of Engineering & Technology as follows :
In the event of a student withdrawing before the start of the Course, the entire fee collected from the student, after a deduction of the processing fee of not more than Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) shall be refunded upto 31st October 2024. For any admission schedule extending/commencing beyond/after 31st October 2024, the provisions contained in the UGC Notification issued in October 2018 on Refund of Fees and Non-Retention of Original Certificates shall apply (reproduced below for ready reference :

5 | 0% | More than 30 days after formally notified last date of admission |
Procedure :
- Application for0 the cancellation of admission and request for the refund needs to submit, duly signed by student and the parent.
- The process of refund will initiate only after the submission of application and the return of all the receipts towards the payment of fee.
- The refund will not be made as cash. The refund will be affected only by Cheque / RTGS / NEFT
- The time taken to process and effect the transfer of refund will be 10 days.
The college reserves the right to make changes in the Fees Refund Policy as per the orders / notification received from the concerned statutory / regulatory authorities from time to time and the changes will be updated in the college website.
