Why STCET - C.E.
- Accreditation : B.Tech. Degree programme in Civil Engineering offered from the department is accredited by NBA, ensuring a high standard of education. Criteria for Accreditation includes effective teaching learning processes, adequate faculty strength and qualifications, academic performance of students, placement of students, infrastructure facilities in the department and college, consultancy and research activities, inter alia.
- Experienced faculty : Well qualitied and experienced faculty members in the department follows the curriculum and teaching learning processes to achieve specific competencies in students, as required in Outcome Based Education. Innovative teaching methods include the use of smart classrooms, providing a dynamic and interactive learning experience. Faculty members are also involved in consultancy activities keeping abreast with the industry developments and provide guidance to students students for solving engineering problems
- Mentoring System : The department has a well-established mentoring system that provides individual attention to students, enhancing their academic results.
- Infrastructure facilities : Departmetn has adequate laboratories for conducting experiments as per the syllabus of PJAKTU. In addition to the College Central Library, a Department library with vast collection of reference, text books as well as journals is open for students and faculty members
- Co curricular and Extra curricular activities : Students indulge in co curricular and extra curricular activities and thus students are encouraged to find their skills and get trained. Seminars, work shops, invited talks etc are conducted through students chapters of professional bodies, clubs etc. Students participate in the various arts and Tech. festivals starting from college level onwards.
- Practical Exposure : The department also works as a consulting agency, providing students with practical knowledge and industry-related experiences.
- Academia and Industry Collaborations : The department has signed Memorandum of Understanding with government and private organizations for industrial and academic collaborations, internships, technical talks, industrial visits, and project works.

PSO2: Design & Development skills – Ability to effectively understand and implement the civil engineering skills, construction methodology, project management and software skills.
PO1: Engineering knowledge :
Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
PO2 : Problem analysis:
Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
PO3 : Design/development of solutions:
Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
PO4 : Conduct investigations of complex problems:
Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
PO5 : Modern tool usage
Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
