About R & D Cell

The Research & Development (R & D) Cell of the institution is established with the objective of promoting a strong research culture among faculty members and students. The cell acts as a central body to encourage, coordinate, and support research activities in emerging areas of science, engineering, and technology. It aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world problem solving through innovative research, consultancy, and industry collaboration.

The R & D Cell facilitates interdisciplinary research, provides guidance for project proposals, and supports the publication of research findings in reputed journals and conferences. It also plays a key role in motivating faculty and students to pursue higher studies, patents, and funded research projects.

 

Objectives of R & D Cell

The major objectives of the R & D Cell are:

  • To create and sustain a vibrant research ecosystem within the institution
  • To encourage faculty members and students to undertake quality research and innovation
  • To promote publication of research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences
  • To motivate faculty and students to apply for funded research projects from government and private agencies
  • To support patent filing, copyrights, and intellectual property rights (IPR) activities
  • To foster collaboration with industries, research organizations, and academic institutions
  • To organize workshops, seminars, FDPs, and conferences related to research and innovation
  • To guide students in project development, startups, and entrepreneurial activities

 

Functions and Activities
