I am delighted to welcome you to the Computer Science Department for the academic year 2024-2025. Whether you are a new student joining us for the first time or a returning student continuing your journey, we are excited to have you as part of our community.
As the Head of the Department, I am proud of the accomplishments and progress we have made over the past year. Our faculty continues to excel in both teaching and research, contributing to advancements in various fields such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data science, and software engineering. We remain committed to providing a high-quality education that equips our students with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the ever-evolving tech industry.
I urge you to take full advantage of the resources and opportunities available to you. Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences.

Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
