Finance Committee
The Finance Committee is a statutory body in an autonomous college that advises the Governing Body on financial planning, budgeting, utilization of funds, and financial accountability. It plays a key role in ensuring the proper management and utilization of institutional resources.
Finance Committee Members
University Grants Commission (UGC) of Government of India has conferred the autonomous status on St. Thomas College of Engineering & Technology, Chengannur vide Ref. (1) cited above. Affiliating University, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University has notified the autonomous status vide Ref. (2) cited above.
Pursuant to this, the Governing Body of the College, in its First Meeting held on 15-10-2025, have taken the relevant orders on record and resolved to constitute the Finance Committee of the Autonomous St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology, Chengannur vide Ref. (3) above. Hence the Finance Committee is constituted as per the UGC Regulations-2023, Section 12, Clause 12.6, with the following composition forthwith and the orders are issued for further action.

The powers and functions of the Finance Committee shall be governed by the UGC (Conferment of Autonomous Status Upon Colleges and Measures for Maintenance of Standards in Autonomous Colleges) Regulations, 2023.
