The agriculture industry in India plays a significant role in the economy of India. B.Tech in Agriculture or Agricultural Engineering is a technical degree program to create professionals who can meet the technological needs of the agriculture industry.
B.Tech in agriculture can be considered as the combination of mechanical engineering, civil engineering as well as electrical engineering. The course is designed to help students understand the use and designing of farming equipment to perform the agriculture processes more efficiently.

Labs

1. Farm Machinery Lab

2. Post Harvest Technology Lab

The lab is equipped with various tools and technologies to analyze, process, and test different post-harvest methods.

3. Crop Production Lab

Crop Production Lab is a specialized facility dedicated to the study, research, and practical training of methods and technologies related to crop cultivation. The lab focuses on improving crop yields, sustainability, and the overall efficiency of agricultural practices.

3. Irrigation Field Lab

Irrigation field lab is designed to familiarize various meteorological instruments and understand the concept of different irrigation systems. This lab serves as a hands-on learning platform, offering students practical exposure to evaluate and optimize irrigation systems.
